ADIDAS ORIGINALS JEREMY SCOOT 2.0

Sneaker enthusiasts wanting to look fly, literally, can buy a pair now at CaliRoots. How does the second J-Wing installment compare to the original?

In rare instances is the sequel better its predecessor. Jeremy Scott looks to top the well received J-Wings with the adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0.

Sticking with high tops, the JS Wings 2.0 uses a simple White/Black colorway with new wings flying off the back as opposed to gracing the midfoot.

NEW BALANCE "SONIC"

New Balance wanted to design a sneaker that reduced waste. Enter sonic welding, a construction process popular in industries involving tech materials and camping equipment. The first company to apply technique to sneakers, the Boston-based company is finally bringing the 574 “Sonic” Pack to the States.

Three 574s were designed for the pack. All of them use solid colored uppers of suede with white midsoles and accent bits on the heel. Upper-matching mesh fills out the toe box and is used for the tongue and ankle area of each sneaker, as well. Grey/Yellow, Brown/Orange and Charcoal/Green color pairings have all been designed and should be at your favorite shop soon.

SHOES FOR ANY OCCASION

Watch CBS News Videos Online
